• The Newark Valley High School Library's online catalog is a tremendous source for finding books easily. Type in the title of the book you want to read, or an author, and view what's available in our library.

• FindMeABook.com is a teen book review and book news site produced entirely by Newark Valley freshmen. This site is what teen reading is all about. Check out what past and present NV freshmen have to say about books they read. Find Me A Book is searchable by tag or keyword.

• Tompkins County Public Library has a special section for teens, including a blog written by local teens, homework help, and book recommendations.

• Broome County Public Library includes a Teen Space, which houses teen reviews, homework help, a list of recommendations for teens, and much more. Check it out.

• The Rhode Island Teen Book Award has great teen-generated lists for best books from 2002-present. Check out the winners of those years, but for the best lists, check out each year's nominated books. Great stuff!

Young Adult Library Services Association is a clean and easy to navigate site that has great lists of best books, including award winners and books for the college bound.

• Teenspoint.org's Cafe Book offers a teen-generated list of the best books from 2002-present. These are the best of the best, according to teen readers. This is a great site.

Favorite Teenage Angst Books has books for all sorts of troubled teen readers. This site recommends books for all sorts of troubles, including fitting in, sex and love, awakenings, journeys, mixed-up families, healing,and pressure.

Reading Rants' Out of the Ordinary Teen Booklists has been helping young readers find books for more than a decade. They know what teens want to read. Check out the site's lists!

TeenInk.com is home to The Ultimate Teen Reading List, which is available through the website, or downloadable as a printer friendly PDF. This might be a great list to have when you're at a book sale.

• The Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh has great fiction books about real teen issues. These writers know teens. Great books!
